La formation en cinéma d'animation 3D a pour objectif d'apprendre à concevoir un film d’animation 3D, de l’écriture du scénario à la réalisation finale.Le profil des étudiant.e.s est : un  esprit ouvert, cultivé et créatif, aimant le dessin et les arts plastiques, curieux.se, aimant travailler en groupe et manipuler un logiciel 3D. En effet dans le domaine de l’animation 3D, la conception se fait de façon traditionnelle (recherches de personnages, décors, ambiances, storyboard…) et la réalisation du film dans l’univers virtuel 3D nécessite des opérations techniques spécifiques et demande une appétence technique informatique. Les apprentissages des différents logiciels de 3D, d’effets spéciaux, entre-autres, forment un socle fort de la formation. Le diplôme repose sur la réalisation d’un film d’animation 3D, individuel, ou en équipe, avec un court mémoire qui vient clôturer les réflexions de l’étudiant.e, écrit et soutenu lors d’un jury spécifique en année 3.

Débouchés :

C’est une formation professionnalisante. L’étudiant.e.diplômé.e. peut travailler directement dans le secteur du cinéma d’animation 3D en tant que réalisateur.trice et/ou assistant réalisateur.trice, directeur.trice artistique (ce n’est pas un peu jeune?), animateur.trice 3D, lighting (éclairage), modélisation 3D (personnages, décors), rigging (fabrication de « marionnettes » 3D), compositing et effets spéciaux, secteur en préproduction : recherche personnages, décors, storyboardeu.r.se ;  ou bien poursuivre ses études dans d’autres établissements : ENsad, Gobelins,Gobelins Annecy, Rubika, Esma, Emca, Poudrière etc... ; ou bien poursuivre en interne dans les différents DSAA.

 

Formation 2D

La formation en cinéma d'animation 2D a pour objectif d'apprendre à concevoir un film d’animation 2D, de l'idée jusqu'à la réalisation complète. Le profil des étudiant.e.s est : un  esprit ouvert, cultivé et créatif, aimant le dessin et les arts plastiques, curieux.se, aimant travailler en groupe. Ils/elles expérimentent diverses techniques de l'animation 2D : 2D numérique, traditionnelle, "sous-caméra", volume, stop motion, et expérimentations plastiques animées diverses. La formation développe donc à la fois une approche expérimentale et technique. Les étudiants appréhendent toutes les étapes de la réalisation spécifiques à chaque technique, de la pré-production à la post-production.

Le diplôme repose sur la réalisation d’un film d’animation 2D, individuel, ou en équipe, avec un court mémoire qui vient clôturer les réflexions de l’étudiant.e, écrit et soutenu lors d’un jury spécifique en année 3.
